Local Comic Book of the Week – Buster #1

Buster #1 is a beautiful story that brings the future in the context of the past. It is filled with non-stop action and Philippine history. The main character of the story is a Philippine hero brought back to life to become the hope against the despair brought by the tyrants. Peejay conveys a beautiful message about the society and how one man can start a revolution.

The Support Sniper Is Real! Introducing the new Overwatch hero, Ana.

There has been fan speculation for months following the release of the highly-popular first person hero shooter, Overwatch that a new character was coming very very soon.

Using the various hidden easter eggs and in-games hints, clever fans were able to come up  with a a few theories revolving around the myth of a female “Support Sniper”.

Geekend Destinations! “Mad Mustard”

Here at Geekend Gladiators, we are not only passionate about our comic books, TV shows, movies and video games, we are also insanely passionate about our food! In this edition of Geekend Destinations, Gladiators Gino and Phoebe went out and tried “Mad Mustard”, a specialty restaurant in Marikina City.

As with every Geekend Destination review, ratings are divided among five categories, with five points each and totaling 25 points, namely: food, ambiance, service, affordability, and level of geekiness.

As a brief background, Mad Mustard is a hot dog joint specializing in different types and combinations of hot dog/sausage sandwiches. It offers its customers the freedom to choose the type of sausage they want and the add-ons/toppings to go with it, thereby creating a hotdog sandwich concoction that they can call their own.
