Casting News! DC Finds Its Steve Trevor

In a bit of casting news, it was announced moments ago that Chris Pine will bring to life Steve Trevor in the solo outing of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

This brings an end to the various casting rumors that Chris Pine is in talks for the Green Lantern movie.

Steve Trevor is known in the DC Comic Universe as the primary love interest of Wonder Woman.

By casting Chris Pine, DC is in full stride of casting A-List actors to portray their various properties.

Chris Pine’s more notable roles include that of Captain Kirk (Star Trek), Jack Ryan (Jack Ryan:Shadow Recruit), and the voice of Jack Frost (Rise of the Guardians).

Wonder Woman is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2017.
