Here’s Why Far Cry Has Us Excited For Michael Mando’s Character in the MCU Spider-Man

And why you should all be excited too!

If you’ve watched Spider-Man homecoming, you may have noticed a bloke with a scorpion tattoo make a very conspicuous appearance in the End Credit Scene in the movie. That dude is the character Mac Gargan a.k.a The Scorpion played by Michael Mando.

If you’re like us then you probably aren’t particularly familiar with Mando’s work in Better Call Saul and other TV series’ (We’re told he’s a terrific actor). So we did some quick digging around the internet and with some prodding from our friends we uncovered a little gem from around 5 years ago. It’s a short mockumentary-style promotional trailer for Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 waaaay back in 2010. Mando stars as the main villain Vaas, the sadistic leader of a pirate crew that captures and terrorizes tourists and vacationeers. Mando’s performance is phenomenal and must be seen to be believed.

Here’s the footage. It’s a little long at 30 minutes but Vaas Montenegro torturing Christopher Mintz Plasse is well worth it.

Mando’s Vaas is a terrific villain, a vicious, psychotic sadist who’s not above having a few laughs at the expense of his victims. We’re hoping he brings some of these elements to the MCU Scorpion or maybe even the MCU Venom if we’re really REALLY lucky
