A new week, a new Pick of the Geek! As with previous articles, Pick of the Geek brings you all the latest movies, TV shows, comic books and other happenings in the world of geek. This week promises to be a monstrous one with what’s in store for us. So without further ado, here’s what caught the eyes of the Geekend Gladiators.

24 Legacy “11PM – 12PM”

The season finale for 24 Legacy premieres this week. Yes, you read that right, this week is the season finale.

Following last week’s episode, this week promises to be a fast-paced, heart-pumping finale as our hero, Eric Carter, faces off against Tony Almeida in what looks like an all-out assault. On the other side, CTU and Senator John Donovan look to rescue Rebecca from the hands of Bin Khalid’s hands. It cant get more exciting than that.

DC Rebirth has revitalized the DC comic book line and has teased us about the forces behind the missing 10 years from DC’s Flashpoint to New52 and now Rebirth. However, fans have waited for an agonizing number of months for new material from Rebirth’s inception. Finally, fans get to know more about the Batman and The Flash’s investigation in “The Button” story line.

CAPTAIN AMERICA STEVE ROGERS #16

Marvel has been churning out Captain America books twice a month for the past few months for this Summer’s event featuring Captain America. If you haven’t picked this book up from the beginning, then I suggest you do so now as Steve Rogers is finally going to make his move against Red Skull and challenge him as the head of Hydra. The question now is, will this expose Steve Rogers to the entire Marvel Universe? And will this ultimately lead to that scene in Civil War 2? Only time can tell. In the meantime, buckle-up, and enjoy the ride.
