CrossFire Stars Invitational Manila Looks to Set October Ablaze

Smilegate Entertainment, the global distributor of the popular Online Multiplayer First-Person Shooter Crossfire, has announced 2 exciting tournaments coming to Philippine shores this October: CrossFire Stars National Finals (Oct. 14) and CrossFire Stars Invitational (Oct. 15-16).


To those unfamiliar with the game, CrossFire is an tactical Online Multiplayer First-Person Shooter that for the most part, plays and closely resembles the widely popular Counter-Strike albeit with its own unique quirks and features. The game has gained quite the casual and professional following as of late and all the momentum that its picked up has built up to this exciting weekend of E-sports for the game.

The CrossFire Stars National Finals will feature 16 of the best Filipino teams fighting for the top prize of 20, 000 USD and the honor of representing the country in the CrossFire Stars Grand Finals to be hosted by China this December.

Following the National Finals will be the CrossFire Stars Invitational Manila, the game’s first international tournament in the country wherein 4 of the top international teams in the CrossFire Pro Leagues, namely Team Pacific Macta (The Philippines), Boss.CFVN (Vietnam), Brave E-sports (Brazil) and All Gamers (China) will be competing for the massive prize pool of a whopping  30, 000 USD!
